Pour ce cinquième album, ce trublion de la chanson française s'est réinventé une nouvelle méthode de création. Enregistré seul pendant un an dans un ancien stand de tir à Bruxelles, il a composé entièrement cet album à la batterie. De cet instrument résulte un disque détonnant au son groovy et rock chanté pour moitié en anglais.
